Milestones in the making
The Origin - Marie, Germaine, Nicole & me
Miamaine was never meant to be just jewelry. It was born from lineage, from the women who built me. Each in their own way, my grandmothers Marie and Germaine, taught me that strength can be soft and softness can be powerful. They were proof that strength doesn't need to be loud, but can be found in softness. Their names are the roots of Miamaine: Mia from Marie, Maine from Germaine. A quiet tribute cast in gold.
My mother, Nicole, now carries its soul. She lived with autoimmune disease all her life. For years she balanced it quietly, until her body could no longer keep pace with her spirit. She passed away after an invisible fight that deserved a different ending. She was there at the start of Miamaine. She believed in it long before I dared to. She was the one pointing forward when I still doubted myself. Now, the fingerprint of her right indexfinger is etched into the DNA of this brand.
It isn’t just a trace. It’s direction to move, create, stand tall. To remind every person with a battle: you are not invisible.
Through her touch, Miamaine became more than a brand, it became a promise:
to honor the women who came before, and to empower those still becoming.
At Miamaine, every design begins this way: not with what’s trending, but with what’s worth carrying. Miamaine is not just jewelry. It is evidence. Milestones. Scars. Rituals. Legacies.
Materials that carry meaning, not shortcuts
Quality isn't optional. It’s respect
Most jewelry is made to be replaced. Ours is made to remain. Because milestones deserve more than plating that rubs off, alloys that irritate, or pieces that are designed to break.
Miamaine is built on respect: for the story you carry, and for the craft itself. We believe your jewelry should live with you. Layered, unapologetic and worn through everyday rituals and milestone moments alike. Every stack, every piercing, every piece becomes part of a timeline. This means:
- 9k and 14k Solid Gold.
- Gold vermeil on a 925 sterling silver base with a 3–4 micron layer and protective e-coating.
- Hypoallergenic, nickel-free, designed to be lived in.
Every earring, every piercing, every fingerprint design I create is more than an accessory. It is a marker of resilience, a reminder that beauty can rise from struggle, that our scars are not the end but part of the story we wear with pride. This is not fast fashion. These are timeless milestones of strength and individuality. Built to last, to layer, to carry scratches and stories. Jewelry should not be pristine. It should live with you.
A piercing after heartbreak. A necklace for resilience. A stack to mark the season you became who you are. These are not trends: they’re milestones you can touch.
From her fingerprint to a movement
After Her.
I grew up watching women who carried both fire and softness.
My grandmothers, Marie and Germaine, were proof that strength doesn’t need to be loud, but can be found in softness. Their names are at the heart of Miamaine.
My mother, Nicole, now carries its soul. She lived with autoimmune disease all her life. For years she balanced it quietly, until her body could no longer keep pace with her spirit and we lost her. She was there at the start of Miamaine. She believed in it long before I dared to. She was the one pointing forward when I still doubted myself. Now, the fingerprint of her right indexfinger is etched into this brand.
It isn’t just a trace. It’s direction to move, create, stand tall. It reminds every woman: you are not invisible.
Jewelry not to decorate, but to document. Not to follow trends, but to carve milestones. Not to please, but to prove that beauty and resilience can share the same space.
And from that guidance, After Her. was born. Not as a campaign. Not as charity. But as a vow. A vow to turn what was silent into voice, what was invisible into action. To create a community where scars are not shame but proof. Proof that we were here, that we fought, and that strength can be worn.
Miamaine jewelry is not just jewelry. It is evidence. Milestones. Scars. Rituals. Legacies.
